The application of solder tape in PV modules is mainly divided into interconnection solder tape and convergence solder tape. Interconnection welding tape mainly includes conventional flat welding tape, MBB welding tape, low temperature welding tape, low resistance welding tape, shaped welding tape, etc.; convergence welding tape mainly includes conventional convergence welding tape, punching welding tape, black welding tape, bending welding tape, etc. At present, the mainstream PV welding tape products on the market are MBB welding tapes for multi-gate modules, with a diameter of 0.28~0.35mm, which is thinner than the previous 5BB conventional flat welding tapes, which is conducive to reducing cell shading and using sunlight more effectively, while increasing the number of main grids is conducive to shortening the lateral collector path of cells, reducing series resistance and reducing the power loss of cells.
